Yep, that’s right, I’m baaaAAaack!
Thanks to my wonderful husband who ‘broke’ my blog, not on purpose, and then spent the week neglecting his own blog, it is fixed.
There is no way I could have done it without his help.
All those Star-Treky futuristic codes, hand signals, and head stands are beyond me. Which, by the way, I have tried doing those hand signal tricks before, and I always ended up giving someone ‘the bird’. However, I do like the idea of the whole space ship travel thing… just the flying at the speed of light part…not the aliens.(except if it were E.T. of course)
He also did a lot of it not being able to ‘see’ what he was doing… so at times we were the blind leading the blind. Something to do with his cookies and money? Or was it cash? I don’t know… all I know is that it was painful. I would share some of the chat/Skype convos, to give you an idea, but
I want to forget those ever happened. As soon as possible, the end.
Thanks Babe, I know you are definitely coming home balder than when you left. Just remember, I can pay the favor back… give me some rhinestones and a hot glue gun and I will bedazzle whatever you want!
No? ‘mkay, well you know where to find me if you ever do.
Okay, so are you guys ready?
Let’s do this thing….
This week everything will be back as usual. I’ve got some kick-ass stuff lined up, one of which is a giveaway on Thursday, it’s my birthday and I want to share some of the love! Another is all the ‘Thank You’ replies from the Troops that received the cups of coffee. And because it’s something I have wanted to talk about for a while: A lesson for girls on dating and the need for self defense. Maybe a recipe, too. If I cook something this week that doesn’t involve the microwave.
I’d also like to send out a HUGE ‘Thank You” to everyone that sent tweets, DM’s, and emails checking up on us, not just because the blog was down, but because Brandon’s gone and you wanted to make sure we were all okay. If I didn’t express it enough in my replies, I appreciate it… they
made me get a little teary eyed, a few kleenexes were involved reading a few, and they all definitely made me feel loved and missed. I couldn’t believe that little ‘ol TeamDuncan, as new as we still are, had this many supporters already. You guys ROCK!
Yay!! So glad you are back!! The blog looks great!
Thanks Caroline 🙂 I’m glad to be back!
Hon, if I get any bald…er… you’ll need to wear sunglasses IN the house to avoid snowblindness. Or something like that…
And, now that it is all said and (mostly) done, sorry I broke your stuff. I won’t play with your toys anymore. I’ll stick to tearing up my own.
Thanks for the thanks, and lay off the aliens, huh? ;D
Hunny, I have a ton of new sunglasses, just for that reason 🙂
Let’s hope you don’t break yours either!
And Babe, no worries on the aliens…. unless of course Lex and I head up to Roswell… I’ll make sure I alert the authorities before we go… you know in case we don’t return, they’l already be on the look out 😉
love you, and thanks again!
